BECOMING A SUMO FRANCHISEE

Our management team has over 20 years of “hands on” experience in the restaurant industry. Always focusing on what happens between the four walls of each SUMO restaurant. A guest’s dining experience is comprised of many small details: a smile, a sincere greeting, intimate knowledge of the menu, prompt service, freshly made food, great value, and a comfortable, casual environment. We will teach you how to provide your guests with a great dining experience – the SUMO Way.

FRANCHISE PROGRAM
Our Franchise Program consists of three components: the SUMO team, our systems, and our franchisee network.

The SUMO Team - Our management team has over 20 years of combined operational experience. We have leveraged this experience to create comprehensive training and field support programs.

The SUMO Way - We know what our guests want and we know how to deliver it. Every aspect of our business is documented in our Operations Manual from making sushi rolls to asking the right questions during an employee interview. Our intensive training program will insure that you are well prepared to run a high-volume SUMO restaurant.

Our Franchisee Network - The SUMO Brand is only as strong as its weakest operator. Because of this, we are selective in choosing franchise operators who are passionate about SUMO and our commitment to our guests. The result is a consistent guest experience from restaurant to restaurant and a stronger brand for all of us.

FRANCHISE PROCESS
Here are the steps involved in becoming a SUMO franchisee.

1. MARKET RESEARCH
Do your homework. Visit our website. Visit one of our locations. Check out the competition. Please call us with your questions.

2. IS SUMO THE FRANCHISE FOR YOU?
Does SUMO look like the right opportunity for you? Complete the no-obligation, confidential franchise application and submit it online, via fax or mail.

3. SUMO CHECKS YOU OUT
We will review your application and get back to you about your qualifications.

4. YOU CHECK US OUT
If you are a qualified applicant, we will schedule an initial interview during which we will provide you with our Uniform Franchise Offering Circular (UFOC) and Franchise Agreement, which include more detailed information about us, the SUMO franchise, and the relationship between the two.

5. Q & A
Call other franchise owners and thoroughly review the UFOC and Franchise Agreements. We will schedule a second interview during which we will answer all your questions about SUMO. We want to make sure you have all the information necessary to fully evaluate the opportunity.

If we both agree that SUMO is the right opportunity for you, you will be asked to join our team as a franchisee.
